Parent-Child Interaction Therapy - Toddler (PCIT-T): a webinar with A/Prof Jane Kohlhoff

Jane Kohlhoff is an Associate Professor in the Discipline of Psychiatry and Mental Health, University of New South Wales, Director of Research at Karitane. During this webinar, Jane provides an overview of this new attachment-based parenting program for young children (12-24 months) presenting with disruptive behaviours. Jane provides a practical overview of the intervention, including its theoretical basis and development; practical examples, future developments and evidence for its effectiveness.

 

Video-feedback Intervention to promote Positive Parenting and Sensitive Discipline (VIPP-SD)– why and how: a webinar

Prof. Marian Bakermans-Kranenburg, from the William James Center for Research, ISPA University, Lisbon, Portugal, presents this in-depth webinar on the Video-feedback Intervention to promote Positive Parenting and Sensitive Discipline (VIPP-SD). The intervention is based on meta-analytic insights concerning duration, focus, and methods of attachment-based interventions. The presentation covers the central principles of the intervention and the ingredients that may explain its effectiveness.

 

Attachment and Bio-behavioural Catch-up (ABC): intervening early to enhance children’s brain and behavioural development.

Professor Mary Dozier, a leading international expert in attachment research and clinical practice, and the developer of the Attachment and Biobehavioral Catch-up (ABC) intervention. In this seminar, Prof. Dozier provides an in-depth overview of the ABC intervention, including its development history, the current evidence supporting its effectiveness, and its applications in diverse settings. The session will feature case material and video excerpts, followed by an interactive discussion with the audience.
